This Story

We all know about this conspiracy. Beyond theory status.
What is outside of normal?
It is abnormal, right? It is the absence of ‘normal’’s attachment to a behavior, thing, idea, understanding. Inversely, it is the presence of some behavior, thing, idea, etc. that has not yet and may never be associated with (become) normative or normalized.
Shocking the amount of things that have attached and detached from ‘normal’ in our decades. Shocking, the impact and consequence that the relationship of a behavior, thing, idea...to this concept (conspiracy) can have on a people. Deadly, even.
Washing hands
Nurse maids outside of town
Lead in paint
Add your examples, experienced ones.
Children are the best at debunking conspiracies. “Mom, why can girls wear boy clothes and do boy things and boys nots wear girl clothes and do girl things? It doesn’t make any sense!”
“I know” I reply to his logic “It doesn’t”
And that’s the thing about conspiracies. They only make sense for the period of time that they do. And it’s never for everyone all of the time.
You know what is for everyone all of the time? Hand washing.
Stay weird, my loves. Stay weird
